What can I eat while I get used to my new dentures?

What can I eat while I get used to my new dentures?

It will probably take some time and practice to adjust to eating with your new dentures. Today, our Delta BC dentists share a few recommendations for soft foods to ease the transition.

Meal Planning

After your dentist has extracted your tooth and when you receive your new dentures, you’ll need to eat a diet of soft foods and liquids that you’ll be able to combine to make nutritious yet fast (and delicious!) meals you will still enjoy.

Some of our favourite options in this department include soft cooked tofu with veggies and noodles, lentil dal and rice, scrambled eggs and avocado, and macaroni and cheese.

Here are some soft foods our dentists recommend stocking up on before starting the denture process.
